Junoon, one of Pakistan’s biggest rock bands, will be performing live in Dubai for the first time ever on 18 January. It’s set to be a special show as the original members will be reuniting on stage after a 13-year hiatus.
Ali Azmat, Salman Ahmad and Brian O’Connell will be stopping off in Dubai as part of their world tour. The band first formed in 1990, and have gone on to release 19 albums that have sold more than 30 million copies globally.
Regarded as one of the biggest bands in South Asia, Junoon broke up in 2005 and have only recently reunited for their world tour to the delight of fans. Expect to hear them perform some of their biggest hits, including ‘Sayonee’, ‘Yaar Bina’ and ‘Azadi’. Music lovers of Dubai won’t want to miss this chance to see the band that The New York Times once described as ‘the U2 of Pakistan’.
