Sharjah Art Foundation will launch 9 day annual film festival called Sharjah Film Platform (SFP) this weekend starting form Friday, that supports film production across the UAE and wider region and provides a critical platform for both established and aspiring filmmakers. Among the films screened are three restored films by legendary Egyptian filmmaker Youssef Chahine in commemoration of the tenth anniversary of his passing.
